CHOIR The school choir had a productive and rewarding year, marked by consistent dedication and memorable performances. Weekly practices took place every Monday, ensuring steady progress and musical growth throughout the year. To begin 2025 on a positive note, members took part in a two-day workshop held on 7 and 8 February. This offered valuable opportunities to refine technique, build unity and prepare for upcoming events. The choir was invited to perform at the Tygerberg Children’s Choir Concert at the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre on 24 July, which highlighted the choir’s versatility and musicality. The choir also excelled in various prestigious competitions. On 22 May the group participated in the ATKV-Applous National Competition, in which they were awarded Gold (80 100%). On 28 August the choir competed in the Paarl Valley Eisteddfod and were awarded a Cum Laude certificate, reflecting their prominent level of artistry and commitment. It has been a year of tremendous growth, teamwork and achievement and the choir looks forward to building on this
