AVANTI The Avanti school newspaper editorial team has had an incredible year and played an essential role in keeping the school informed, entertained, and engaged with the happenings in and around the school. Every year, the Avanti editorial team consists of an exceptional

group of girls who want to make a difference. Learners get the chance to use their voice through writing and are taught skills that can be used later. While the year was largely successful, the team faced challenges, such as balancing academics with newspaper deadlines. But the team managed to publish a newspaper every term. Over

the year, many editorial team members grew in their roles, gaining confidence in their journalism, writing, and editing skills. As the year draws to a close, the current editorial team is focused on ensuring a smooth transition for next year’s editorial team. Kelsey van Sitters – Chairlady
