PHOTO 345. An example of severe feeding damage inflicted by snails on this newly planted grapevine in the course of a weekend (after a shower late on Friday afternoon). PHOTO 346. Misshapen growth and severe feeding damage caused to this young grapevine – as a result of the feeding of snails – are represented in this example. Compare with the situation in Photo 345.
