Strapping
Only use straps with CORNER PIECES as to not damage the cartons and be sure to leave ventilation holes open. Please make sure there are no loose metal clips / fas teners laying in the cartons or within the fruit.
12.5mm width straps to be used. BEWARE not to use substandard material straps that will snap or deteriorate on -rout. It is important to place the straps on the correct layer and height to secure the areas of most outward pres sure which is the bottom third of the pallet.

Pallet cap
FINISHED PALLETS A pallet cap is essential for every pallet. This is to help minimise damage to the top cartons, and reduce contamination. The pallet must be sufficiently strapped to prevent movement of boxes and the resulting damage It is CRITICAL to ensure the base layers are tightly strapped during building the pallet.
