We wound down Term 3 learning how to analyse movies. We watched the musical ‘ Hamilton’ and a thriller called ‘ #Alive’ . Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly as we discussed themes, plot and different camera angles to make the movies that we enjoy every day. A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who participated in the Drama Club this year. A special thank you to Ms Kirsty Nel for leading and welcoming everyone with open arms. Our new club afforded the Larries to be creative and explore their dramatic potential. We trust this society will stand the test of time as we welcome new drama leaders and learners to its ranks. T h e D r a m a C l u b e m b a r k e d o n a f u n - f i l l e d a n d d r a m a t i c 2 0 2 1 ! Term 1 saw the introduction of the Drama Club, where the girls got to know one another better and develop new skills such as quick-thinking and using the body creatively. Activities such as ‘ As you see it on TV ’ saw the girls acting out different television programmes, from music videos, sport and even commercials. The girls excelled with the programmes and had enormous fun. In Term 2, it was time to put the skills learned in Term 1 to the test. The Larries performed a full theme programme as is done during the Matric year. They chose a variety of poems and combined them all together,
