none of us were able to compete with our floral Larrie numnahs. When we heard that we would be competing again this year, we all decided to bring the La Rochelle Equestrian Team back with a bang! With our team including many new faces and quite a few of the Matric riders competing at their last ever Show-Jumping Interschools competition, La Rochelle made history by winning the Overall Winners’ Trophy for the first time in the 12 years since the inception of the competition! This could not have been achieved with- out the individual effort of every Larrie entrant and her mount, which is the result of many hours of hard work and a good dose of bravery, grit and determination. As Team Captain, I am super proud of every rider who competed this year. Being a part of the La Rochelle Equestrian Team for the past 5 years has really been a massive part of my Larrie experience. Being able to see the younger equestrians compete for their first time was such a treat and I am confident that this amazing team will flourish and continue to bloom! EN AVANT!

During 2020 we were all deeply disappointed at the fact that both the Dressage and Show-Jumping Interschools had to be cancelled due to Covid regulations and that
