I also want to express my deepest gratitude to my incredible staff, who have held my hands high, supported one another, and always placed the school first. Your loyalty, professionalism and genuine love for our boys form the very foundation on which this school’s success is built. Vir my persoonlik was een van die grootste doelwitte van 2025 om die skool se verhoudings met ons ouers, die Beheerliggaam, die Oudstudente-unie, HJS-stigting, Hoër Meisieskool Paarl en Primêre Seunskool verder te versterk. Ek is dankbaar om te kan sê dat hierdie verhoudings tans kerngesond is en dat die HJS-gemeenskap doelgerig saamwerk om ons geliefde skool na nuwe hoogtes te neem. Shakespeare once said: “The lion’s courage shines in the heart of those who dare.” May that courage live in every Boys’ High boy – the courage to lead, to serve and to live with conviction.
