Op 28 Desember het agt Boishaaiers wat kans gesien het vir die fisiek en geestelik uitdagende Kalahari Vasbyt na Victoria Falls gevlieg. Daar het hulle drie nagte deurgebring om voor te berei vir die avontuur. Hulle rekspronge en witwaterritte is gedoen voordat hulle koers gekies het na die Chobe- en Moremi-wildreservate. Die Sentraal-Kalahari het hulle begroet met uitgestrekte vlaktes vol wild soos springbokke, blouwildebeeste, gemsbokke en selfs leeus. Hoewel dit nie ’n oorlewingskamp is nie, werk deelnemers hard en trek soms saam swaar. Die beginsels van dissipline, respek en eenheid word streng toegepas. Fiksheid, kennis en leierskap vorm ’n kerndeel van die ervaring.

Schalk Lubbe (Graad 9) het op 28 April die Wes-Kaap verteen woordig by die SA Skopbokskampioenskappe. Hy het in die K1 Youth Men -60 kg-afdeling meegeding en met ’n silwer medalje huis toe gekom ná ’n uitstekende vertoning.

Bodyboarding

Judo At the National Trials in Johannes burg, Daniel du Preez (14) compet ed in Group 4 (U/ 17). From 5 - 11 May he attended the African Union Sports Council Region 5 Games in Namibia as part of the South African Team. He also represented the Cape Winelands Judo Team at the Judo South Africa Open Championships in Pretoria (2 - 5 July), winning two bronze medals: one in the U/60 kg weight class and one as part of the Group 4 national team event.

Boks Christiaan Lubbe

(Graad 11) het op 4 Mei 2025 die Kaapse Wynlande verteenwoordig by die Wes-Kaapse Bokskampioenskappe. Hy het in die “Youth Men” -86 kg-afdeling deelgeneem en ’n goue medalje verower.

John Krige was crowned the 2025 South African U/18 Bodyboarding Champion. He represented South Africa at the IBC Grand Qualifiers in Morocco, where he finished in the top 9.

Waterskiing (Slalom) Luke Versfeld (Grade 8) has achieved outstanding success in slalom waterskiing. At the South African National Waterski Championships at Vineyard Lake, Stellenbosch, he qualified for his second set of Protea colours and won the national title for U14 slalom skiing. He also placed second in the open division and officially received his Protea colours. Luke then competed in the second leg of the International Summer Series slalom competition at Vineyard Lake against competitors from all over the world. He will represent South Africa at the San Gervasio Pro-Am in Italy in July, followed by the Europe and Africa Youth Championships (U14 division) in Madrid, Spain.
