SA U18 Test Match at Paarl Boys’ High Paarl Boys’ High was privileged to host one of the annual SA U18 rugby test fixtures. Teams from England and France travel to SA to compete in a mini test series against one another. What made the event even more special was the participation of three of our boys, Jean-Claude Mars, Scott Nel and Jameel de Jongh, in the SA U18 Team. The big crowd thoroughly enjoyed the day. The victory of SA U18 against England U18 in the last match rounded off the day perfectly. Paarl Boys’ High U12 Rugby Day This day offers many primary schools’ U12 rugby teams

and their coaches the opportunity to play on the Buco Brug Street A-field. The event starts with a dart-throwing competition for the coaches to determine the draw. The event is about the players having fun and displaying their talents. Congratulations to Paarl Boys’ Primary who scored the most tries on the day. Special thanks to all the participating teams and the parents and supporters who made the day a success. Our sincere gratitude also goes to the sponsors. Frans Malherbe U15 Rugby Festival This festival takes place annually in the first term holidays, and has grown from strength to strength. Schools from across SA come to participate and support the Frans Malherbe Rugby Festival. Boishaai strives to create a festive environment for the players and coaches to enjoy Paarl and make friends while playing good rugby. None of the teams disappointed; great tries were scored and an exciting brand of rugby was the order of the day. Thank you to the Paarl Boys’ High staff team who work extremely hard to make this festival special for all the coaches and players, as well as to our sponsors who support us year after year.
