PROGRAMMING OLYMPIAD
T his olympiad is set up for learners who would like to program and solve problems and it is a wonderful opportunity for the IT learners to get exposure to high order programming problems and to solve these problems given a time constraint. This year Paarl Boys’ High entered 50 learners of whom the following learners went through to second round: Gary Creamer, Zander Coetzee, Bernabé de la Bat, Alex Kruger, Joshua Jacobs, Ivan van Rooijen, Daniël de Waal, Pieter Slabbert, Neil Bekker, Jaco Marais and Philip Kotze. We look forward to next year’s Programming Olympiad and we may even have a few learners going through to the third round.
