ARTSCAPE

On 6 and 7 March our learners attended a two-day English Festival at Artscape Theatre held by the Grahamstown Foundation. Five of our boys were up before the crack of dawn, very excited with what lay ahead. They had the opportunity to attend several workshops and shows. The workshops varied and were on anything from debating to jazz dancing to learning about the role of masks in drama. The boys watched several shows and listened to talks by poets and role-players in the entertainment industry of South Africa. This was a wonderful and enriching experience and we cannot wait to take part in next year’s festival!
