Benefits of this support to farmers: • Varieties that are attractive to SA’s export markets • Higher yields, which means higher income per hectare • Derisking the financing of new developments Most planted varieties: • Autumncrisp ® • Sweet Globe™ • Sweet Celebration™ SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Purpose: Support professional development with the aim of increasing the success rate of B-BBEE initiatives. Who can apply: Any person meeting qualifying criteria. Preference will be given to land reform beneficiaries and their children. Areas of intervention: • Bursaries for relevant agricultural degrees, diplomas and certificates. • Training in relevant modular and business courses.

Cultivar choice is one of the most important decisions in table grape production. SATI offers financial support to assist first generation farmers in replacing older varieties with modern varieties.
