MISS LA ROCHELLE The much-anticipated Miss La Rochelle Pageant took place on 15 May and once again proved to be one of the highlights of the school calendar. This year’s theme, ‘Metamorphosis’ , celebrated not only beauty and elegance, but also growth and transformation. From the angelic wing opening scene that captivated the audience, to the poised final walk, the finalists impressed both the audience and judges with their charm and dedication. Each round, from casual wear to evening attire, showcased the individuality and grace of the participants. The stage lit up with twelve radiant finalists, each contributing her own personality and flair. Their preparation, courage and camaraderie behind the scenes reminded us that Miss La Rochelle entails more than competition – it embodies friendship, empowerment and teamwork. After an evening bursting with excitement, the Miss La Rochelle crown was deservedly awarded to Aninka Muller, with Rebekha Morey adjudicated the First Princess and Lee-Zaandré Wanza the Second Princess. Special awards were also presented to Phillipa Theron as Miss Personality and to Gabrielle Balie as Miss Photogenic. The success of the evening would not have been possible without the generosity of the sponsors, the dedication of the organising committee, the loyal support of staff and the enthusiastic encouragement from the audience. The Miss La Rochelle Pageant continues to personify the grace, confidence and spirit of the school, leaving everyone eager to see what surprises next year has in store for us. Organising Committee
