An escape, a haven, and a place to let your creative juices flow – this is the Avanti . The Avanti provides the opportunity to widen your horizons and to discover new things hidden by the façade of the world, but also allows you to improve your grammar and syntax, which will pay off in the long run. It also gives you the chance to write about things of importance to you and it is a way in which you can express those feeling with your peers. Furthermore, it allows the learners to engage with one another and learn about new things that might end up being something they love. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Avanti had to develop an alternative way to share all the wonderful articles with the rest of the school and ultimately the world. The school newspaper has its own blog, which is extremely exciting, because, as a blogger, your writing is shared with the rest of society. It affords quick access, so anyone may indulge in the articles written by fellow Larries. It is a sterling opportunity for girls who would like to pursue a career in Journalism, because the Avanti offers the opportunity to explore the culture of writing. Since the dawn of the Avanti , it has published controversial, humorous, and thought-provoking articles. It is 2021 and we are thriving, and we intend to continue in this manner for many more years to come. The Avanti is a place to discover the odd, the innovative and the inspired. EN AVANT ! Gedurende 2021 het die Avanti tydens kwar­ taal 1 en 3 blog-inskrywings voltooi. In kwartale 2 en 4 publiseer ons ’n elektroniese pdf-koerant wat kostevry aan alle Larries beskikbaar is. Die redaksie en Avanti-lesers was vol afwagting om die eerste elektroniese koerant onder oë te kry en die publikasie het beslis nie teleurgestel nie. Hierdie artikels was so divers dat daar iets was vir elke siel om te lees en die uitleg was so sag op die oog dat ’n mens tuis gevoel het tussen die bladsye. Die Avanti-redaksie is werklik ’n groep wat inisiatief wys en innoverend dink oor aktuele sake in ons skool en die wêreld.
