Make every lap count. The 2020 swimming calendar started with an intense training camp none of us could have predicted. The resulting aching muscles and prominent tan-lines did not dampen our spirit as we were very excited to have acquired some new talent in the pool amongst the Grade 8s. great sense of pride as I saw every swimmer climbing out of the pool, completely out of breath and exhausted, which showed that they had given it their all. After such a crazy and unpredictable year, I think back to the 4G Swimming Gala with a

parents, sponsors, and the school itself for the endless amount of support they have given us. To the Swimming Team: our time together was short but sweet. Thank you for making my last swimming season a memorable one, and if there is one thing I have learnt in 2020, it is to make every lap count .  ANGELICA BELLMUNT (SWIMMING CAPTAIN)
