here are various sources of nutrients for grapevine fertilisation, of which inorganic fertiliser is most commonly used in commercial agriculture. Organic sources of plant nutrients are often sought by producers who want to be less dependent on the use of fertilisers. In the first part of this chapter, different types of fertiliser and organic materials are discussed, and useful information regarding their application and composition provided. INORGANIC FERTILISER Inorganic fertilisers are divided into four groups, namely granular products, water soluble products, liquid fertilisers and enriched organic fertilisers. A list of the inorganic products that are most commonly used, mainly granular, is provided in Table 20.
