Water Polo

SA Water Polo Caleb Peceur (16) was selected for the SA Boys U16 water polo team that competed in the Pan Pacific Youth Water Polo Festival in New Zea- land. There were 29 countries from all over the world, including New Zealand, Australia, Ser- bia, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia , Italy, Greece, Spain and the world best teamHungary. During the U16 tournament the SA team ended in an overall 5th position. The tour was a huge suc- cess in that the local players learnt a lot from playing against the top ranked teams of New Zealand and Australia.

Due to the water restrictions implemented due to the 2017/2018 drought most of the water polo games were suspended for 2018. League matches will resume the beginning of 2019. Fish Hoek High School-toernooi Die HJS o. 19-waterpolospan het Saterdag 20 Oktober aan hierdie eerste toernooi van die nuwe sei- soen deelgeneem en die volgende uitslae behaal:

HJS vs Fairmont High: 13 – 2 HJS vs Fish Hoek High: (B) 15 – 1 In die finaal: HJS verloor 3 – 8 teen Pinelands.

HJS vs Pinelands: 2 – 5 HJS vs Fish Hoek High (A): 5 – 5
