In 2017 PBHS had a wonderful water polo season with two U19 teams, two U15 teams, two U19 teams and a full-time coach for our U19s. The first team took part in the St Andrew’s Plate Water Polo Festival held in Grahamstown. We are grateful for a successful season. Water Polo

SA SCHOOLS WATER POLO TOURNAMENT We had several players in the Boland water polo teams. They took part in the SA Water Polo Championships during December 2016. The selected players were: U14: Keith Jonker and Caleb Peceur U15: Eon van den Berg (non-travelling reserve) U19: Peter Meihuizen, Pierre Pretorius, Daneel Wessels, Jandré Venter and Ethan Fredericks. CURRIE CUP WATER POLO Peter Meihuizen was selected for the Boland Water Polo Currie Cup Team. The SA Water Polo Currie Cup took place in Stellenbosch. The following boys have been selected for the Boland team participating in the SA Schools Water Polo Tournaments held at various pools: U14: Walroux Venter U15: Keith Jonker, Caleb Peceur, Eric Slabbert U19: Ethan Fredericks

ST ANDREW’S PLATE The following boys were in the team for St Andrew’s: Peter Meihuizen, Pierre Pretorius, Walter Travers, Daneel Wessels, Jandré Venter, Igno Ferreira, Matthew van Eyssen, Ethan Fredericks, Rudolph Bührmann, Cameron Malherbe, JC Loedolff, Eon van den Bergh, Keith Jonker, Jan- Hendrik Basson. Mr Rob Meihuizen was our host, Mr Jurie Wessels the driver of our bus, Mr Frank Geraghty is our coach and the managers were Mrs Marcelle Steinmetz and Mr Jacques Grobbelaar.
