The following learners achieved exceptional results - Individuals

Grade 10: Heinrich Andrag & Adriaan de Villiers (2nd place) Luke Swartz & Faheem Pangarker (3rd place) Duncan Griffiths & James Roberts (35th place) Grade 9: Gregory Hall & Andrew Rothman (54th place) Seven of our boys were invited to take part in the second round of the competition. Hugo Bruwer in Grade 10 and Mike Wang in Grade 9 both achieved a second place in their respective grades, in each case just one question separating them from the first place. Luke Swartz was placed ninth in grade 10. Based on their achievement in the third round of the UCT competition both Mike Wang (junior) and Hugo Bruwer (senior) were selected to represent the Western Cape at the National Team Olympiad where both the teams won.
